Liberating Jasper Associates

Local providers practicing through a lens of Health at Every Size, social justice, and compassionate care.

I take great responsibility in being a leader and  an advocate. Above all I like to think of myself as a social justice warrior. I look at healing from a mind body and spiritual approach. In practice I aim to provide a support and inclusive environment. I provide evidence based treatment approaches and specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorder and body image recovery. Rates are $100 for individuals and $200 for family sessions. Availability on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays via Telehealth and Wednesdays in-person. Not accepting insurance at this time.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH60587863) specializing in children, families and minority mental health within the Latino population. I received my License in 2013 and since then have worked extensively in the areas of clinical mental health disorders, court ordered reunification cases, co-parenting issues, infant mental health (birth to five population), parenting assessments for the Department of Child Welfare services, and run adoloscent girls psychoeducational groups on puberty and body image/ self compassion. I have been working in my private practice, Inspire Counseling since 2016.

I treat people who want holistic care, focusing on exploring the intersection of mind and body. What is your bodies story? How does that impact your mental health? Your physical health? I can help you have a better relationship with food, body, and exercise. I help those with disordered eating and those that cope with chronic health and pain issues. Nourish yourself by giving time and attention to you. In our work together, we will focus on your narrative to unravel the connections and help you understand why and how you function. When we discover how we function, we can unstick the dysfunction.

I help you gain a better relationship with yourself, utilizing intuitive eating and health at every size principals. I am uniquely trained in both therapy and nutrition and hold a certified nutrition license (CN) in addition to my training as a mental health counselor. My approach is collaborative and centered on your needs.

I practice from an attachment theory lens, and utilize narrative therapy, feminism theory, and existential theories to support our work together. I use other techniques and skills as needed, such as mindfulness or trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. Talking helps, reach out to me at, or

Mindful Therapy Group Member

My practice currently focuses on the evaluation and treatment of mild to moderate ADHD, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, disordered eating and body image distress, trauma and PTSD in adolescents and adults in an outpatient setting. As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, my primary goal is to work collaboratively with you to evaluate the factors that inhibit comfort and confidence in daily life and develop a treatment plan which leverages your strengths to facilitate growth, change, and obtainment of greater balance.  After completing a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, we can work together to identify and agree upon an integrative approach to mental health treatment which can include psychiatric medication management, lifestyle modification, supportive counseling, pharmacogenetic assessment as well as possible referral to specialized psychotherapy or nutritional support.

We all need a place to start and to be heard on the journey toward finding balance, I look forward to meeting and partnering with you along the way.  Feel free to contact me at or visit my website at for further information.

Social Worker

As a clinical social worker, I consider the whole person when working with my clients. This holistic approach allows us to explore not only yourself but your place in the world and relationship to it. My approach is weight-inclusive and non-diet. I enjoy working with clients who experience disability and/or are neurodivergent (i.e. Autism/ADHD). I work with teens and adults at all life stages. As a trained social worker, I offer my clients not only psychotherapy but help accessing additional resources in their community.

I am here to support you on your healing journey by using practices that are evidence-based and rooted in social justice. I practice from a feminist, eclectic, anti-oppressive perspective. I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Washington Tacoma and I am licensed to practice therapy in WA state. I enjoy collaborating with my clients and other practitioners at Liberating Jasper to ensure all your needs are being met. My session fee is $100 for 50 minutes and I also offer a number of reduced-fee appointments each week.

I personally believe that therapy is about finding your authentic self, turning suffering into joy and eventually happiness. It is my passion to develop a genuine relationship with my clients, build rapport and safely have difficult conversations, resolve conflicts, and experiencing your authentic-self including your pain. I will work with you to tune into your true self, recognize your unfavorable coping mechanisms, and discover self-compassion.

My therapeutic modality is a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. Therapy has both benefits and risks. During the course of therapy, you might notice a change in your symptoms, problems, and functioning. Since we will be exploring challenging aspects in your life, you might experience greater difficulty throughout our work. Therapy typically, produces benefits over time but sometimes as you get to the root of tender issues, you may feel them even more acutely than in the past. I cannot offer any promise or guarantee about the results you will experience. However, as you commit yourself to work through your vulnerable issues and build upon your strengths, it is likely that you will see improvements throughout our work and in the future.

I offer therapy service for individuals. I see clients 14 years old and older. I do not offer case management services, which include but not limited to providing paperwork for disability, unemployment, custody, adoption, foster care, car accidents and any type of legal issues.
